Intrigued, we looked over to see a coyote confidently sauntering through the campground just a few feet away from us. To our astonishment, the coyote stopped at a neighbor’s table, snatched a plate of food, and disappeared into the nearby woods.
The campers were understandably shocked but seemed more amused than anything else. As word spread of the coyote’s brazen theft, laughter filled the campground.
